Sesame Lemon Asparagus

Asparagus goes well with Peddaha, as the two dishes are light yet filling at the same time.

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 lb asparagus
  • 3 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1⁄4 tsp hing
  • 1⁄2 lemon
  • 1⁄4 tsp salt
  • 1⁄8 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Wash and cut asparagus into 2-inch pieces.
  3. Mix asparagus, hing, salt pepper, and olive oil.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes. Turn over, add sesame seeds and cook about 10 more minutes, until nicely browned.
  5. Squeeze lemon on top of asparagus.
