Ingredients

  • 1⁄2 c dried apricots, chopped
  • 3⁄4 c water
  • 1⁄2 c celery, chopped
  • 1⁄8 c walnuts or pinenuts, chopped
  • 6 sli dry bread, cut into small cubes
  • 1⁄2 t salt
  • 1⁄2 t thyme
  • 1⁄2 t sage
  • 1⁄4 T hing

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, bring water and apricots just to a biol. Let stand for 10 minutes.
  2. Add celery, nuts, spices, and bread. Toss lightly to moisten bread and blend ingredients.
  3. Bake at 350°F for about 40 minutes. remove lif during last 10 minutes of baking to brown the top.
