Rasagullas
Description
RasagullaRasgullas originated in the state of Orissa, India, where it has been a traditional sweet dish for centuries. Rasgullas are known as Orissa's Gift to the world and have become Indias national sweet. One tast and you will know why.

Ingredients
- 4 c sugar
- 8 c water
- 8 c cardomon
- 8 c saffron
- 8 c rosewater
- 1 gal milk
- a little buttermilk and citric acid the curd the milk
Instructions
Boil one gallon of milk. Ad a little buttermilk and citric acid to break it.
Stir the curd inwards gently
Drain the curd and press lightly but firmly it for approximately 15 -30 minutes
Roll it out on the counter till the curd feels completely smooth with no lumps
* Roll the smooth curd into balls
* Put them into the syrup on a slow boil
* Cool at room temperature
Offer and honor!
Instructions for Syrup
* Boil the sugar and water
* Add the cardamom, saffron, and rose water
for flavor
* NOTE: 1 gallon of milk makes about 30

* NOTE: The ratio for sugar and water is 1c
sugar : 2 c water
